Yes I finally got download link! I did small test against Fritz9 + Fritz9.ctg.
Rybka 2.2 - Fritz9 15 - 35 Rybka.ctg
Rybka 2.2 - Fritz9 14 - 36 RybkaII.ctg
So it's not worse. Additionally I counted , that in first match Rybka book has more moves than Fritz book in 16 games,
but RybkaII in 28 games. So book is definitely bigger.

at last, we see that the book-maker agreed with my opinion "the bigger the book, the better it is", although this didn't get too much acceptance in the forum.
Well, I agree with you and have for years. It's almost self-evident, yet you're right, others are totally committed to other ideas.
The size of an openings book needn“t necessarily stand in correlation to its quality. Well, if one is somewhat selective with what (s)he copies into it - it might be true anyway. And if one then additionally knows to avoid rotten CTG format or at least to halfaway compensate the weaknesses of it, the effect of such a hypothetical "bigger" book is even stronger.
