The release date is now January 30. It definitely shouldn't go beyond that.

rybka 2.3 would be so much easier
now we have all kinds of rybka 2.2 that you don't know what's the best

i suggest that if you want to release a new rybka you should name it simply rybka Matefinder

Mate finder would not be a good name- most of the games would be won in the middle game itself- and there is where Rybka usually wins- its positional understanding is astounding.
BTW, there are applications which specialise in finding mates only- but they are not good chess engines ;-)

I'll be waiting for Rybka 3.0 x64 mp and The Rybka GUI. I'll also be waiting for the Rybka winfinder & Rybka combo, if it's ever created.

Strange launch date, isn't that a tuesday. Curiously Wednesday the 31 st is Bug Busting Day :-)
