Topic Rybka Support & Discussion / Rybka Support / How do I install Rybka 2.3.2a in Shredder (under Linux)?
The page where it descripes how to install Rybka 2.3.2a under Linux, does not make sense to me.
My 32 bit laptop runs on Linux mint 17.1. xfce. I have ShredderClassic4 for Linux. Now, I wish to install the Rybka engine into Shredder.
How do I do that? and, please, explain it to me, as if I am a 5 year old. I am a beginner with Linux. As said, I do not understand the instruction page on the rybka site.
So far, I am already using Wine for another windows chess program.
Or, is it easier to have Shredder for Windows and run it in Wine?

Did you manage to install Linux engines like stockfish?
Windows engines are a bit more difficult. Did you try to enter something like "wine /engine/path" ? (/engine/path is something like home/user/... and so on)
Of course you need wine, so "sudo apt-get install wine" in a terminal before should do it.
