Is this the beginning of a revivalist movement yet to come. The marriage of two unlikely sources,  or the end of  the Rybka era promulgated by its inevitably long silence?

Most likely the latter with the news the TCEC S9 entrant is Rybka 4.1. How much time then is left for this site?

Perhaps just a reformatting. Essentially there is no more Rybka team if Rybka isn't going forward. With that no more Rybka.

I tried to contact Vas, but didn't get a response yet... If there are plans to shutdown the website I don't know about them.

I couldn't imagine  shutting down the website. That wouldn't be Vas's style.

Felix contacting Vas? Good luck with that. Btw can you tell him to show his face at least once every 5 years here. We wouldn't bombard him. Just a friendly hello would be nice.

Well, it's not impossible ;-)

He will write in the forum when it feels right :-)

In the end a quick hello would be more frustrating for some users than the status quo.
