What really advantage will Deep Rybka 4 have over the single core Rybka 4?

The only advantage is that Deep Rybka 4 version can use all the cores you want (I think the maximum will be 2048), while the single core Rybka 4 version only can use 1 core.

She can do different things at really the same time (and it is not trivial to do this in a real efficient way)
and so given Tasks are solved earlier, ways to win are found earlier, dangers are found earlier...

For dualcore CPUs for example, using a single core will show only 50% CPU utilization while Rybka is thinking - remaining 50% of the CPU remains unutilized. Deeb Rybka can tap into the power of all the cores so that she can evaluate more moves in a given time.

For single core CPU however, if I am to guess I would say with 95% certainty it will not matter which version you are using - Rybka and Deep Rybka will be of equal strength.

AMD V-series processors and Sempron 140 can run the SSE4.2 version, which has no non-deep counterpart. That's only good for a 5% speedup, though.

Should be about 50 elo if you have a Dual, 100 on a Quad, and so on (number guessing since this hasn't actually been tested, CCRL results test without the workaround so SP Rybka looks much better than it should).

If I buy Rybka 4 by itself-and put it into a 2010 Rybka 3 Aquarium-Will I use any ability?    I use Rybka basically to analyse positions.

You can use all Rybka 4 features in Aquarium 3 (although you might want to check out the price difference for updating to Rybka 4 Aquarium).

Do you have Aquarium 2010 or Aquarium 3?
If you have Aquarium 2010 then you'd only need to buy Rybka 4 UCI, you'll get free GUI update to Aquarium 4 later today (if the patch is not delayed of course).
