Rybka "Multi-cpu/Rybka 3.exe". I was able to add it to Deep Shredder 11 GUI and use the engine successfully with a few minor glitches.

"1-cpu/ Rybka 3 1-cpu w32.exe". I was able to add it to CA9 and CB9, but could not use it in either one.
In CA9, got error message: " Wrong format for UCI."
In CB9, error message: "Must change engine."

Convekta is aware of problem adding Rybka to CA9 but so far has no solution.

So one out of three is not bad, considering that DS 11 is my main GUI.

Rybka installs without problem in my CA9. I tested infinite analysis and no problems there either.

I don't have Rybka 3 yet, but I read that this problem could be related to the file names containing spaces. For some people, renaming the exe to a name without spaces, like Rybka3.exe, solved this problem.

I can imagine that the fact that some people have this problem while other don't have it, with the same software, could depend on the files system used on their HD (FAT, NTFS or whatever else exists), or that in conjunction with the OS version. I am no expert of this topic but I would not be surprised if that makes the difference.

PB, thanks for the suggestion. Renaming worked the Rybka file well for CB9 but unfortunately did not help for CA9.
