hello all. i saw the PH posts here and i have some questions to vas or larry:
1 it work like learning position like other engines sredder,hiarcs,spike...etc?
2 how much games fill for example the 16 mb PH file? the shredder use max 24mb and store about 40000 games..
3.in one proved bad tactical move the PH "correct" the move and choose other move the next game in same position?
4. the bug in PH destroy this "avoiding bad moves in next games" situation?
5. what happened with the weak spot in previous rybkas about king safety-attack?
tnx.

The bug only affects playing games, if you're analyzing positions it will work just fine.

so you mean during game play PH cant correct and avoid the bad moves in future games same positions?
that mean its work not as learning position and many of here wanted this future :(

I'm wondering if it would while using CB's DPA. Think I will need to check this one of these days...

1) I don't know what other engines are doing.
2) PH works like any hash table and therefore doesn't "fill" - it just stores the highest-priority information
3) Yes. PH just makes Rybka analysis more efficient in revisited positions. It's doesn't make it different.
4) No. The one known bug in PH relates only to Rybka's time management during game play.
5) Better but work remains.
