A few games from the above matches.
Below the Round numbers are in ()'s, the same as in the .pgn included above.

- Dark Horse won 20 vs. the latest Stockfish, not as much as it lost but more than a few.
Stockfish allowed a classic B sacrifice 20.Bxh7+! and topped it off by a classic sacrifice of its other B 21.Bxg7!!
(Stockfish won as white also, but a much longer game not shown.)

Sorry My Friend......But This is not a "KO Tournament" You only had 5 Chess engines entered!! Why 5 ?? For a Real KO you Needed 4 Engines or 8!! Where Is Fat Fritz 2?  Where is SF Development? Where is SF 14 and Stockfish 13.1? Beth Harmon? How long did it take to run this tournament? Time control is 30 secs + 55 seconds? Why? Why so many games in a KO? Your Crosstable shows Honey 14 at the top!
I would rank them 1-8 (or 1-16) and then set up a true KO Tourney.....and see what happens....50-100 games should be enough for a accurate result...thats a lot of games....LC0 v0.29.0 ? CFish Must be entered also....and Raubfisch and Probably CorChess....I like SF Dark Horse entry though...16 engines KO might give some interesting result indeed......:wink::neutral:

+1    Your posts are the reason I come here so often! Playing over the games. Downloading the pgns. Learning much from your analytical methods.

I really get tired of reading a lot of the nonsense from so many of the trolls over at TC . . . (although supersharp77 is not one of them. He's a pretty decent guy)

Thank you very much!!

In my posts/events I try to have the chess produced as the first priority - so your comment was definitely appreciated!

>I would rank them 1-8 (or 1-16) and then set up a true KO Tourney.....and see what happens....50-100 games should be enough for a accurate result...thats a lot of games....LC0 v0.29.0 ? CFish Must be entered also....and Raubfisch and Probably CorChess....I like SF Dark Horse entry though...16 engines KO might give some interesting result indeed.

A knock out tournament may consist of 3 or more engines with books, specific opening lines, fixed positions or undirected engine play in the openings. The rules are always set by the organiser or as in this case MrKris, the person using their resource and time to run it.

However, we await with interest your post demonstrating how you would do it with its results!
