Rybka 2.3.2a was released in June 2007. I opened the Rybka 2.3.2a binary file with a binary file structure viewer to get the time when the binary (exe) was linked/compiled. I used the PEview program. With PEview you can get the link/compile time of a Windows executable by reading the IMAGE_FILE_HEADER section, Time Date Stamp entry of the executable. Using PEview the Rybka 2.3.2a binary was compiled on May 2006. My question is: if it was compiled in May 2006, why was released only in June 2007 (more than a year later)?
