I've been working with a book made using Nick Carlin's steps and recently noted where a discarded move showed up in a later position where the book's move took into account that discarded move, re-instating it, so to speak.  What would you do?

You could try a PM to Nick, however it's probably because of a transition.

Nick doesn't have a user corresponding to "Nick Carlin" or "NickCarlin."

Am still working on that other matter where the question is now that I've located the file "new book.hsh" in the computer where my opening book is I want to be exactly sure if that file contains all of what I would like to copy, because even if performing the action correctly there is substantial risk in the environment I am working in; I do not want to after all this work stumble here.

Matters have been recently complicated all the more when I learned that part of the Pirc portion of the book needs to be re-adjusted because of poor move choices.  This goes back to all of my now 10+ years full time experience with computers and openings and am now all the more familiar with openings.  Main corrections have been made but need to continue with it.
