Congratulations for the RYBKA CLUSTER! Lukas, can you tell us on what hardware does Rybka Cluster run and if there are any chances to see Deep Rybka 5 coming out this fall? Best regards!
Parent - - By Lukas Cimiotti (Bronze) Date 2012-05-12 13:35
Hardware is a 100 core cluster consisting of 1 16 core Sandy Bridge E Xeon and 7 12 core Westmere Xeons.

Thank you! Should I still dream for Deep Rybka 5 this year?
Parent - - By Lukas Cimiotti (Bronze) Date 2012-05-12 13:46
Yes
Parent - By Magnus Friedmann (***) Date 2012-05-12 13:55
+ 1  Finally, THE BEST NEWS!!
Parent - - By Magnus Friedmann (***) Date 2012-05-12 16:01
Will there be a new Rybka 5 book with the latest cutting edge theory?
Parent - By Lukas Cimiotti (Bronze) Date 2012-05-12 16:07
I don't know - but I guess so, yes.
Parent - - By Magnus Friedmann (***) Date 2012-05-12 15:07
BTW, what is the maximum hardware that Rybka Cluster can run? Is it more than 300 cores?
Parent - - By Lukas Cimiotti (Bronze) Date 2012-05-12 15:11
It can - in theory - run on thousands of cores.

Nice!! What was the last book move by both sides, if you can share?
Parent - By Venator (Silver) Date 2012-05-12 16:07
I don't know, perhaps Jiri can tell us?
Parent - - By Uly (Gold) Date 2012-05-13 00:15
Nelson, can you please tell us what was the novelty in this game?
Parent - - By Nelson Hernandez (Gold) Date 2012-05-13 01:21
10.Be2 is the novelty, root game Santiago Molero Tejada (1978)-Alberto Hernandez Bermudez (1778), 1-0, 1 Obert de Tardor de Llinars, 2009.10.09.

Santiago Molero Tejada (1978)-Alberto Hernandez Bermudez (1778)

My goodness, where did you get such games from :-).
Parent - By Nelson Hernandez (Gold) Date 2012-05-13 22:15
Very rare to see players rated so low staking out the first time a critical line has been played!
Parent - By InspectorGadget (*****) Date 2012-05-14 18:56
Nelson I like your database really. Impressive

Round 2: Rybka - Spark 1-0. I don't have the PGN though, perhaps later from the official site.

Hi,

what is the time control?
Greetings
Parent - By Lukas Cimiotti (Bronze) Date 2012-05-12 16:55
I think it's 60 +15.

The rounds are two hours, so I'd guess most are using 50+0 or similar.

Round 3: Pro Deo - Rybka 0-1

Why can't ChessOk broadcast these games? We've been hosting "them"  for years!
