Hermann is Hermann.[citation needed]

I wanted to know the name of the engine. didn't know Hermann is an engine itself .

Hermann 2.4 has 651 games on the CCRL 40/40 list and is rated at 2600. Hermann 2.5 is the latest public release and seems to be a nice improvement in strength.

Or not.

Thanks for that link.
Maybe Maitra would have preferred that link instead of your answer.

yes I didn't know Hermann is an engine name as I hadn't heard of it.

funny game. Hansdampf, ate the cheese (which is very obvious for a human) and lost very easily.

Very strange selection of opening..

why does it say rybka3w91 ? is that something to do with version or number of cores ? :p
Parent - - By Lukas Cimiotti (Bronze) Date 2009-10-17 11:14
That's the version number. As you can see we changed versions today.

rybka3w91?

R3W, R3X, R3Y, R3Z, R4

We are almost there :)

LOL single core rybka doesn't even see a win here ... thinks it is complete equal
only after the check on e4 does it see a mate in 8 :)
Parent - - By Uri Blass (*****) Date 2009-10-17 16:17
Rybka single core 32 bits clearly see that white is losing here and does not think that it completely equal.

She may show a score of 0.00 for a significant time but it is only because she does not show fail low scores.
