Hi all.

I have installed Rybka 3 and Aquarium through the Admin acct, but when I switch back to limited user acct (my normal everyday acct), I cannot seem to get Rybka or Aquarium to run....?

I know it runs because I have opened it using the Admin acct.... Does anybody know how to run it in a limited user acct, or any suggestions?

Thanks.

Aquarium requires administrative rights to run using Vista or Windows 7. I guess XP is no different. This is one reason why I no longer use it.

Here's a way to start Aquarium with admin rights without tweaking UAC or giving the admin password.

Thank you for this.
I spent ages trying to create a fix using the Compatability Administrator. Aquarium would seem to work when a ran the test, but would then exception when running it from a link.

I hope that Convekta will sort out the Vista/Windows 7 compatability issues. There is no reason why Aquarium should have to run as an administrator.

I use it, it works real good.  Haven't had any problems in over a year of using it.

They should be gone in Aquarium 4.
