I write an article about the match of rybka against ehlvest for the israeli chess magazine and one question that I do not know the answer to it is when vasik started developing rybka.
I know that rybka1.0beta was released in december 2005 but I remember that there was an older version of rybka.

No, according to an interview, he began to work in Rybka from the year 2003. Almost 4 years ago.
