I would very much like to see a match of Rybka against Hydra.
Is there a chance of that happening in the near future?

ps Alos when is 2007's World Chess Engine Tournament?

Ask the Hydra team. Rybka is ready to fight against Hydra, but Hydra doesn't participate in computer chess tournaments anymore...

Thanks!

But in this Freestyle Tournament, zor_champ has not really acknowledged what kind of Hydra helped (Chrilly Donninger claims not to know what the sheikh is doing with Hydra).

Also, I am not sure that Ibermax, Xakru, Nebula, Icy45 were Rybka alone (that is, not helped by a human in centaur mode).

Chrilly (and the sheikh) are probably the only ones to know for sure the relative strength of Hydra and Rybka : if Rybka is stronger, no match will take place...

You can see that the the playing strenth of Rybka is much stronger than Rybka.
If Hydra was stronger than Hydra a macth was on his way....
