Hi friends!

I have seen today in the Playchess server a new machine, the Bozo Gambit 101, the owner has an ELO rating of 2830 and as he said is a new one, only 2 days old!

Does anynody had the oportunity to play against him?

It's just another Rybka 'clone'. The idiot simply hex-edited the name. No such real engine exists.

I'll leave the rest of the bashing to people who have more experience in it.

[Edit] CB are going to ban him from their server when they find out. Illegal cloning is, well, illegal.

same as ground 0, and other. Kaissa1.8, for example playing with 2700 elo strength.just another clone.

I started to write new engine from scratch. I will call my engine Rybak (in english fisherman).
Hope it will be ready in 10 years. Then I will catch Rybka!

In 10 years time we want walking hardware, goodlooking, that plays chess and obeys orders :-) I.e. knows how to loose when we need a victory!

Personally I agree! But look at some the walking ego's around, and you'll recognize the need for flexiabillity :-)

Wow, such attention to a renamed chess engine. For the recored, I am the one who did it. 1st, let me say that I never told anyone I wrote the engine, 2nd it was a renamed version of Fritz 5.32, and last but not least....  for some " idiot " to assume that it was Rybka clone is laughable, there are other chess engines to rename other then Rybka. Also, for the record.. I lost 2 games, won 2 games and drew 2 games.
I am aware of the playchess rules, I have played almost 90000k games there with my Playchess Nics. I was not trying to cheat anyone, and I lost more then I gained. My only intention was to bring a smile to others when they saw the name. Anyone that knows me on that server knows that I am a fair player and a bit of a clown. Look at the name of the engine !
