Convekta is planning to offer simultaneous release of new versions for CA, Aquarium, and Rybka.
Well, we already know that owners of Rybka 2 have to pay full price to get Rybka 3.
But their policy for owners of CA9 is in dark. They do not offer upgrade from CA9 to CA10 yet.
Also, if I buy both CA10 and Aquarium, I pay for the Rybka engine twice, because there is no option of buying CA10 or Aquarium without Rybka, and there is no option of buying CA10+Aquarium as one package with discount.
And it is not clear, does Aquarium distribution include the new Jeroen's book in CA format or some other one...
I hope, they will fix these issues. They have 2 weeks for this ;-)

It all comes to who gets my money.
I've already ordered upgrades to CB10 and Corr2009.
Chances are high I will upgrade CA9 to 10.
And I will buy Deep Rybka 3 for sure. But I am not going to buy both Fritz and Aqua GUI if any.

CA 10 seems to be no major update and just CA 9.1 with a new database. I'd recommend Aquarium instead.

Über den Deal wusste ich schon etwas länger bescheid, zumindest, daß er geplant wurde. Hab kein Problem damit.

You assume that Aquarium includes the engine, but Aquarium might be only the GUI.
Rybka 3 Aquarium is Rybka 3 + Aquarium GUI.
