You mean 'scoring a goal in the last minute', like the Turkish team did 3 times in a row!?
Putin phones Balkenende: 'Hi Balky, the big match is on tonight!'
Balkenende: 'Yes sir, we hope for orange of course!'
Putin: 'Hm, I hope for your dear inhabitants that Oranje is not doing too well, Balky!'
Balkenende: 'Aha, why is that, almighty Vlad!?'
Putin: 'Otherwise we will shut down the gas pipeline from Gazprom!'.
Well, we lost, but at least we still have the gas coming :-).
A poker challenge would be nice: the Rybka Aces (Hans, Jeroen) against the Hiarcs Fishfingers (Sebi and you) :-) :-)
>There are probably not many examples in chess history where a chess player/engine has won a tournament with 3 rounds to spare. And we're talking about a clear win on points, not tiebreaks.
--------------------
I was thinking the same thing. Vas must be very proud of his program and his team for pulling this off. An amazing accomplishment.
Milton
This was the result:
The problem in that tournament was: most of my oppos were using Rybka ;)
Btw. I played that tournament using Sedat's private book which he kindly sent me.
I like that book very much :)
Congratulations !!!
Are the tournament's games available for downloading ?
Regards,
Sedat
Howver, Bf4 (followed by Qd2,0-0-0, f3 and so on) creates some problems for black, but I have a way to get a position where a draw is likely. g3 is also critical, but since it's not very forced it's difficult to say how to evaluate those positions.

Frenzee took one move later, after 36.Kf1 Bg7. I wonder if White can save the game if he doesn't play 37.gxh3 but a rook move, instead (Rybka suggests various rook moves).

Appearantly not, or at least not fast with single Rybka-32 on my CPU, which is rather slow though. Recent Quads should be at least 5 times faster.
