When conducting an engine match in the Fritz interface, I sometimes get the word "Line" listed as the result of a game. What does this mean?

It means the game does not have result. Maybe you interrupted the game?

No, no interruption. It interrupts itself and goes to the next game, even when it has not reached the move limit.

Try editing the game in question to a result, example 1-0.
Now edit it back to "no result".
Then you should be fine once you resume the tournament or match.

Regards, Graham.

Did this solve the problem?

I had the thought that if I nixed the engine match and went to a two-man tournament instead, I wouldn't have this problem. Tried it, and it worked. No more "Line" results.

Thanks for the suggestion.
