Look at the last move, white moves pawn to d5, black move his pawn from e5 to d4 and removes th d5 pawn. No wonder I loose! :-)
I took back the move and run it in analyse mode, it did not fail again. I am using Fritz 11 as gui.

This is obviously a GUI bug. There's nothing on d4 so it can't be a capture and the x is incorrect (nevermind the illegal move).
Not so sure about that. The black pawn on e5 was moved to d4 and the white pawn on d5 was removed, and exd4 was noted.
I would not think the gui did that by itself when rybka did something else.
I was so surprised by this "move" that I did not test playing on, I will if it happen again.

This is certainly a GUI bug
The GUI should never allow illegal moves in the first place.
A buggy engine can write e5d4 but no engine can remove the pawn d5 from the interface and if the the engine writes e5d4 the interface has no way to know that the engine's intention is to capture the pawn d5 and not the queen d1.

I think I understand it now.
