I'm a multi version kind a guy and running variations with one keyboard and one mouse on one monitor is right up my yank!
That will always bring me to his guy's shack of conclave of nuts.

I am practically "The Man Who Fell To Earth" in that regard.
I did not try Synergy but it might be worth some experiments.
I have virtual machines and I also tie machines together with mstsc and xmanager.
I also have a hardware switch and a floor to ceiling equipment rack and one of my monitors is like the monitor in the video (a large 4K TV).
I have old commercial servers, new bleeding edge machines, and stuff I have bought from ebay.
At work, I tie into many different types of mainframe computers and servers of all sorts (including IBM Mainframes, every variant of Linux, OpenVMS).
BSD, Mac and various Cloud systems as well.
At home (except for tying into work) it tends to be mostly Unix and Windows versions. And Windows 10 and Ubuntu for the most part.

Dann,
Good to see you're still very much alive and doing what you do best!
It is all about reduction of clutter! Eventually the reduction in clutter -will lead to a loss in personal desktop computing and everyone will be buying time in some mega cluster cloud multi-billionaires satellite computing system relay! But I'll be long dead by that point! ✔
