Stockfish completely dominated, losing only two even though it had to play both colors.

B47 - White only performed 25% but Stockfish did not have any problems with white, drawing or winning vs. the lower placers. (Stoofvlees drew all its games with white.)

One is very rarely played, others more commonly.

Is there a place to collect the games?

Merry Queen Sac (2|1)
https://cccfiles.chess.com/archive/tournament-190681.pgn

Happy holidays!
______
For CCC prior event .pgn's go to https://www.chess.com/computer-chess-championship

1) Then it shows the current event in progress name in the middle under the engine's scores.
(It now shows 'Budapest Bullet (2|1)')

2) Clickk on the current event name (it has a 'down-arrow' to its right) and a 'drop-down' list of prior events shows.

3) Click on the prior event you want.

4) Near the chessboard by the lower-right corner is some buttons (just under the little 'arrows' that go ahead or back in the game).
Click the little 'Download' button there - a small 'down-arrow' with a line under it.

5) A windw for FEN and PGN for the game pops-up, with near the top the words 'PGN  Event  Image  Embed'.
Click the word there 'Event', and the display changes to show a 'Download' button (with a 'down-arrow' and line under it in a 'button').
Click the 'Download' button for the games. (Or use the text-link there as I have above.)

I was able to download the file tournament-190681.pgn but I was unable to locate any of the menu things you mentioned thereafter.
After two pages of finding boats to prove I am not a bot, I saw none of the things that you mentioned.
There was some game going on, but that's about it.

Thanks for the assistance, though, and for the file.

P.S.
I don't like the TCEC navigation either.
But eventually, I can find the TCEC files I am after.

> I saw none of the things that you mentioned.

See the .jpg here: 1) select your event, 2) click the download button (then use Event in the pop-up).

I hate to be a whiner... (actually, that's not true, I whine all the time and constantly)
but it seems that the dropdown gives a single game at a time.  At least that is all that I collected.

And the PGN is completely devoid of any annotations like centipawn evaluation and time used.

Is there a way to collect larger chunks and with the program generated annotations?
Parent - By MrKris (***) Date 2021-01-11 18:49
Sorry, I did not notice your post until now.

> And the PGN is completely devoid of any annotations like centipawn evaluation and time used.

From there click the word "Event" (it comes in "PGN", the leftmost word, that is why you see the 'plain' game), as in the attached screenshot here.

Then the link or button should give you all the games in the event with annotations.

Hi, I ran a 2 min + 1 second tournament with the first position after  1.e4 c5 2.f4 d5 3.Nf3 dxe4 4.Ng5 Nf6 5.Bc4 Bg4 6.Qxg4 Nxg4 7.Bxf7+ Kd7 8.Be6+ Kc6 9.Bxg4 g6  as I used to try and play this many moons ago, I think 9...e5 is better for black .... All engines were on there default settings except for the cores

Regards

Interesting games. 9...g6 does  look a little odd.
Interesting too is if 9...e5(!) 10.Nf7+ Kc7 11.Nxh8? is worse than 11.Ne5+.

From your RR: White +3 =27 -0  16.5/30  55%
(Note at the bottom Stockfish has 9...g6 -(for black)0.26, +=.)

Here is couple of games with 9...e5. + or - for the mover:

Hi, Being under Tier 4 lockdown we have been forced to once again close our shop  I find playing some little tournaments from positions such as yours is stopping me from going stir crazy lol .... I ran a 2+2 from the move 9...e5 (1. e4 c5 2. f4 d5 3. Nf3 dxe4 4. Ng5 Nf6 5. Bc4 Bg4 6. Qxg4 Nxg4 7. Bxf7 Kd7 8. Be6 Kc6 9. Bxg4 e5) ... The games all followed what I have in my database to around move 25 which was the same as you ... The games white managed to draw were all fortress kind of positions, I still get amazed by the depth of ply search even at 2+2 .... I put my latest stockfish on 11PV and it basically matched yours

Regards
Tony

Thanks for the ..e5, I was curious about that!

Your RR's worked out very well I thought:
9... g6 ?: White +3 =27  -0, 16.5/30,  55%.  (Wh. +3 -0.)
9... e5 (!): Wh. +0 =10 -10,  5.0/20,  25%.
  (Wh. +0 -10.)

All 20 of your RR games were the same after move 24 (Scid vs PC).
Then there was plenty of variety as shown by the low 50% draw rate.
