Hello,

I am sorry to post here but the forum of ChessOk doesn't work anymore. I am trying to use the background analysis function (BGA) as described in the video's regarding Chess Assistant. However as you know these are old video's and I am missing the BGA script that is in the video's (there is no BGA script under the tab tree and then scripts) so I don't know how to get the results after the analysis under the column BGA next to the CAP.

When I have analyzed a position the move doesn't turn green as is also described in the video's. Is there a good explanation of this function with the current version of CA?

Besides CA20 I use the Chessbase 16 but CA20 is VERY FAST so this is the main point why I am using this program too.

Thank you.

Pieter

The BGA script that comes with the program is defective (it is zero kb). At some point the distribution copy was the wrong one.

I have the original BGA script from an earlier version which works (3 kb) which I can provide.

You may be able to download from the Chessassistance page which is hosted by ChessOK

The classifers may be of interest as well - see the endgame classifer and the article on that classifer.
