I use the EVGA RTX 2080 Black Edition for my rig.

Ryzen AMD4 with X570 can recognize 128GB of RAM. My R5 3600 is modest but it runs well on X570.
TRX40 should be able to handle 256GB with 8 memory slots

My RTX 2080 demonstrated its video conversion ability as being excellent when converting some old AVI files to HEVC
It seems RTX 2080 has more tricks up it sleeve.

Hi Folks, Having spent so much time in hospital over the past months with heart problems many things got put on hold ... My computer room was redecorated by my Mrs while I was away and I have just started putting the computer and bits where I like em ..... On the hardware front I think I will pick up a RTX 3080 as I have been impressed with Leela on the 2070 super .... ATM I have the air con unit blowing on the memory,2 m2 drives samsung 970 EVO Pros and the VRMs ... I completely cleaned out the water cooling loop

Sorry to hear about your health issues : /
Cool wallpaper! Also I wonder how much the AC drops your temps and whether or not it's a condensation risk.

Hi Labyrinth, I have never had condensation problems when simply using the aircon unit to cool stuff. For many years I used to use the aircon unit to blow air through the radiator instead of fans as you simply get better results but my new aircon unit is a bit small to cool the whole of the 560mm radiator I now use with its 4x140mm fans ..... Instead I use it to cool the motherboard area which has the memory, the Dimm 2 slot with 2xM2 SSD drives installed and the VRMs which really keeps the temps down ... Air from the aircon does hit the waterblock which cannot do any harm but I could not say if it helps (maybe test in the summer)
The only time I have personally had any condensation issues is when using phase cooling when the sub zero temps can be a real pain especially with high ambient temps .... A proper water chiller blowing air through the radiator is excellent, another simple idea is to put the radiator in a container of iced water and then add a water pump as it is important to actually push the sub zero water through the radiator fans but this method I suspect will cause condensation problems lol so insulation is a major factor and maybe a heater on the back of the socket like the old vapochill cooling units
