Is there a way to export an IDeA tree including the evaluations stored at the nodes?

I know about the Tree Utils and the export functionality there, but that just produces a list of positions, it does not include the engine evaluations. Am I missing anything?

Ah - looks like I can answer my own question. Found it in Aquarium2020\Data\IDeA\Results . It seems Aquarium uses Level DB for the positions, but stores evaluations in text files.

Hm, except that the data does not seem to be what Aquarium displays.

r1bqkb1r/ppp2ppp/2n5/1B1pp3/4n3/2P2N2/PP1P1PPP/RNBQ1RK1 b kq - ce -33; acd 31; acs 40; pv Nd6;

acd could be the depth reached and acs possible the number of seconds - and while ce looks like it could be an evaluation in centipawns, Aquarium shows something different (-1.05) for the IA evaluation of the move leading to that position.

Any idea anyone?

ce is the evaluation of the move Nd6 at this position. However, when you minimax, the evaluation for this position in the tree will be overwritten by the downstream evaluations. So it will likely be different. If you want to export this tree or a part of it to another tree, then set it as the master tree of the other tree and use the import function.

I see - that makes sense, thank you. I was expecting the figures to be the eval values straight from the engine and the minimax values to be either calculated on the fly or written elsewhere - as the IA column in the tree config shows the engine evals, they must also be stored somewhere.

And my intention is not to import it to another Aquarium tree, but to process in another piece of software.
