Based on post of Mattchess and a few others, I downloaded Aqr 2020 today. Once issue is that the size of the panes, either in Database or in IDeA, is fixed and I cannot move some dividers between areas of the layout to adjust pane size.
For example in IDeA, Project Name section is at top; Project Options & Project Analysis share the bottom half of the screen. Project Name should have the most space but has very little and I cannot change the pane size. (Divider between listing of projects and the other panes does work.)
In Database, a slightly different problem with the panes. The vertical divider between board window & header on left vs. notation and tree on right cannot be moved.l
Is there a config file that contains layout information?

Thanks to the experts.

hmmmmm....not sure as I have not had that issue.  I can reconfigure the panes just like before.  I can adjust size by moving the dividers between all the windows and I can move the windows around.

Thanks, Matt. Did you copy contents of \Config\ from previous Aqr to same folder in Aqr 2020?

Another more serious problem in Aqr2020 is with running Infinite Analysis at a key position during IDeA analysis. When I click Infinite, the task is added, e.g., I will see that an additional core is added for the i.a. task. But since the task is not shown with the usual "f" in the middle of the Stage Status pane, I have no way of doing "Finish Task" or "Insert Task" or "Delete Task."

Victor, I hope that you are back from Holidays to give us some guidance on glitches in Aqr 2020.

Small minor things noticed so far..

I have an issue where the "Download" engines button to get the default Stockfish does not seem to work.
I just went and read the engines file, and did it manually as a workaround.

And the hash size column in engine setup not being passed through - again, edited the engines.xml in config folder to fix.

Hi Brain:
Is there a way to edit engines.xml so that the default new engine has certain properties, e.g., hash size and other SF parameters?

You can set default parameters such as hash size for all new engines you are going to add in Engines-Setup button.

you can also edit the engines.xml with notepad to change as much as you want.

What I cannot figure out is whether it is possible to change/edit the move generation engine that Idea uses, as sometimes it adds odd moves to the tree.

Also notice no WDL display support produced from the NN-engines

The inconsistency of the F in the white box appearing for infinite analysis tasks was also in AQ2019.
Make sure IDEA is running when you add the task.
I have found that adding a second task will make both of them appear for some reason.

Ghengis,
Thanks for the idea. I will try that.

My experience with Aqr 2020 has been poor. When I am simply trying to open a game in database window, the program and Windows hang. I have to shut down the computer. This has happened twice.
I will have to revert to Aqr 2018.

I am running on W10 with none of those issues.
