Up Topic The Rybka Lounge / Computer Chess / Is Fat Fritz blind to blockades like Stockfish still iss?
- - By rocket (****) Date 2020-01-04 20:21 Edited 2020-01-04 20:23
This is one of my games against the anti-human program designed to beat Kramnik, and even it thinks black (it) is winning.

Stockfish evaluates black to be much better in the endgame as well (-1.7) -1 is up a pawn which is usually "winning" or "close to winning"

the reality is that I can hold this endgame in my sleep as against Laplace Demon.. by simply shuffling back and forth it is impenetrable.

Now the point is that it makes sense positionally to evaluate this as better for black, were it not for not that there are no ways to break open the position...

Your game is also crap.
Cannot be replayed in the diagram. No black moves e.g. >10. 6 d3 11. O Nd4 12. 369 7 13. Bc4 438 :lol::lol::lol:

Your observation is super crap. Its Rocket's game only where i added pgn tags only to find the notations are not correct, hence asked to post proper ones.
Parent - By rocket (****) Date 2020-01-06 22:11
It is a copy and pasted pgn from Chessbase
Parent - - By rocket (****) Date 2020-01-06 22:12
if you only copy from the first to last move and ignore the rest of the info, the PGN will play... anywhere..
Parent - By Master Om (Bronze) Date 2020-01-07 19:03
Then Your copy pasting skill is bad.

you guys can copy the game notation (only) into here and watch the game https://chesstempo.com/pgn-viewer.html

Try it yourself - your post is bad, invalid pgn! (You text-copied out of a viewer or something - you must use chess software 'export to pgn' and the like).

> you guys can copy the game notation (only) into here and watch the game https://chesstempo.com/pgn-viewer.html

Here is what I got just now:

time used for each move in the chessbase PGN
Parent - By Master Om (Bronze) Date 2020-01-08 04:16
Its not proper notation. The numbers are not according to moves.
Parent - - By MrKris (***) Date 2020-01-07 22:50

> you guys can copy the game notation (only) into here and watch the game https://chesstempo.com/pgn-viewer.html

Yes, it did work there, without the headers [Event ... etc., though "game notation" usually means all of it.

You where using a non-standard format, though.

If you post in a standard way everyone can read it on their own software.

Your Fritz 10 - Stockfish post, 2020-01-07 02:42, was standard pgn:

but if you post it using [pgn] , like Master Om did for you in his reply, then everyone can read it here (and click the c8 square if they want the pgn for their own software).

I posted the chessbase pgn, but i changed the name of the player because I am not registered by own name there

Readers can click the board's c8 square, instead of needing the top text above the - - -:
"C8: show this game PGN source data" <-- pops-up a window with the PGN in text
