Well you are certainly NOT going to kill moi .. .. yet.
When my buddy sees my response he will probably have a fit, call me all sorts of names and demand I have a brain transplant ..
Take that !!

h6 would weaken kingside more than I would like .. g6 seems safer ..
I think the Dutch is perhaps on a par with the English !
I'm going all out for a win here just so you know ..
2 ..... h6 (it is)
(you never would have guessed I'm a huge fan of emojis)
This is what corr chess is about, good luck!

Hah thats funny because its about here that my brain goes apoplectic and wonders why I play the Dutch.
Still its served me well as the Indians and Sicilians are still very problematical for me.
Have decided that maybe the Sveshnikov is more me ..
Good luck dear Uly !
I thought I had finally convinced you. Anyway, looking forward to following the game.

No no no !
Not a good idea to play against sarona - he's deadly ..
Will give you a severe haircut - you'll probably want to leave town after.

I have only lost two games since 2015. In one it was because of my lack of 6men TBs. On the other I was slowly outplayed on a strategical hell. I'm now curious about how sarona would beat me
Anyway, Ponder Hit!

still in book.
So whats your secret ?
On a need to know basis .. of course ..
>still in book.
Most of the theory I can find for the Dutch was generated before Stockfish 9 was introduced, the first engine that could refute chess theory, so I can't trust it.
>So whats your secret ?
Huh, playing like a coward? Basically if you do nothing and you opponent does nothing, it's a guaranteed draw, so that's a great recipe to avoid losing. That's also a great recipe to get draws against much weaker opponents, so that's why it took me so long to break 2200 elo. Once you push the opponent into having to do something, the weak fall. But the strong rise, which leads to game losing, so I guess my strongest self would be the one that knows when to stop pushing and be happy with a draw...

The Leningrad is perhaps more 'adventurous' - this one kinda sucks but I play it against GM's and we end up doing nothing .. draw ..
However sometimes I do need a diaper change when a smart-ass GM has a surprise for me .. not nice ..

I was expecting Qh5+ ..
I've predicated my next response to you playing Na3 or dxc5 or Nbd2 - so please do not decide on any other move.
> I was expecting Qh5+ ..
Weird, I didn't have it in my top 4. I'm not saying anything about Qh5 because I didn't check it at all, perhaps it was best and I missed it, but I still find that odd...

Your redacted post was unable for viewing - did you delete it ?
Well I have what is called in polite circles .. .. an ass-brain and it pukes out weird moves.
I was playing a well known corr db compiler and I did it there too .. had a choice of 3 moves with the fourth having 3 question marks against it.
You guessed it - I played that move - funny thing - he thought it was a good move so I now own it as apparently it does not appear in some databases.
Not a game-changer but unexpected. Pretty sure if played OTB an opponent would puke.
>Your redacted post was unable for viewing - did you delete it ?
Yes, it contained a line that we didn't play, leaving it there would only leave to confusion as you didn't play 7...Nc6.
> had a choice of 3 moves with the fourth having 3 question marks against it.
Whoa! I don't think I've seen a move with three questions mark. I guess OTB people have played those kind of moves against me, like leaving their queen in a place where I could easily grab it. I guess when that happens and I miss it, forget to taking a free queen would deserve 4 question marks

The Indians are causing me heaps of trouble in that I'm not very comfortable playing them as you are aware.
The Sicilians are no better.
The Dutch offers some chances however meagre.
So I keep telling myself.
You're a GREAT help as always ..
