Great!!

However, would not the GTX 1650, which can use cudnn-fp16,  ($150 in U.S.) be better, for a Leela Ratio a little over 1?
I understand though you might what to use what most people have, cards before the recent Nvidia GTX 16xx / RTX 20xx.

google.translate: I have tested a pre-release version [lc0], the increase [fp-16] is not as blatant as the cards with Tensor Cores, but I have it then 1.75 times higher nps.

"Be sure to run the full-tune on it. Then run it with the start position until ply 26 and see your average ply depth.

Even with an old i5-2500K and GTX1060 I get about 2250NPS in the benchmark I described. This is good for ~2900 CCRL."

TechPowerUp hardware data:
GTX 1060 https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/geforce-gtx-1060-6-gb.c2862
… FP16 (half) performance 68.36 GFLOPS (1:64) --but no cudnn-fp16 for Lc0--, Cuda cores (shading units) 1280 ...

GTX 1660 $150 https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/geforce-gtx-1650.c3366
… FP16 (half) performance 5.967 TFLOPS (2:1), Cuda cores (shading units) 896 ...

GTX 1660 $220 https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/geforce-gtx-1660.c3365
… FP16 (half) performance 10.05 TFLOPS (2:1), Cuda cores (shading units) 1408 ...

RTX 2060 $350 (only a little more than the 1660 Ti) https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/geforce-rtx-2060.c3310
… FP16 (half) performance 12.90 TFLOPS (2:1), Cuda cores (shading units) 1920

I have the RTX 2060.
It is about 4 times the above GTX 1650 for Lc0.
That makes sense because I have 2x the fp16 TFLOPS and 2x the Cuda cores.

Here the cudnn (no fp16) GTX 1060 to RTX 2060 is less than 2x, but cudnn-fp16 is the issue.

I think, Wolfgang is considering to buy a 1650.

best wishes
