Two positions from: how much time does your engine need to see the draws?
http://talkchess.com/forum3/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=71468

Analized simultaneously, Syzygy 5&6 SSD
Stockfish_19080109 6ths i7-4770K
Lc0 0.21.4 (2ths i7-4770K) RTX 2060 -net: 256x20.T8-swa-610000

First position:
k5b1/8/8/1p1p1p1p/1PpP1P1P/2P5/8/7K w - - 0 1

Stockfish 1 sec, 10 secs, 60 secs ... 5 mins: -3.05 -+
Lc0: 1 sec -0.10, 4 secs -0.09, 35 secs ... 5 mins: -0.08 =/=+
--Exactly zero chess-functional moves legally posible from the diagram.

- - - - - - - -

Second position:
k5b1/2p3p1/8/1p1p1p1p/1P1P1P1P/2P3P1/8/7K w - - 0 1

Stockfish 1 sec to 01:46 -4.21, then a few higher, then 3 mins to 10 mins: -4.45 -+
Lc0 1 sec to 44 secs -0.81 to -0.84, then 49 secs to 10 mins: -0.85/-0.86 /+

Slightly disapointing for Lc0 in the first instead of 0.00.

Very disappointing for Lc0 in the second because if ...c5 and/or ...g5 then white moves its king, then if any ...cx_ and/or ...gx_ or ...c4 and/or ...g4 then it is blockaded.
--Permutations (combinations?) of 6 pawn structures times various white king positions times black king positions = on the order of a few 1000 (?) chess-functional positions.

Critter 1.6a sees a draw immediately but only in first postion.

Interesting about Criter 1.6!

First position I have:

Black 'box' a8-a6-h6-h8, 24 squares (5th is own pawn or dark square king into check).
White 'box' for king moves a1-a3-h3 less b3,c3,d3 21 squares.
12 bishop squares x 23 black king squares each x 21 posible white king squares
is 5,796 total x 2 for either side to move = 11,592 posible unique chess positions total.

Stockfish, data for my last post below, @ 20 plies has over 24x that in the 283k nodes, and about that many nodes/second, 12,866k.

Stockfish here has a problem at depth 100 plies when it should say 0.00 from the 50-move rule.
It seems not to be able to finish the 100th ply:
22 seconds from 98 to 99 plies depth, both with the strange "/101" meaning 101 max. plies but no 0.00,
then I manually stopped the analysis at 05:11 when it outputed the "100/101..." line below but that means, the manual stop, that it was still in 100 (if it was done it would have printed an 100 line itself already).

When I stopped it at 05:11 it said 1,995,100k total nodes for the 11,592 posible positions
= 172,110 nodes per posible position.
