So working on learning these custom IDEA tree and I've pretty much got the gist of everything.

A question:
Let's say I have a database of games that I've created for use in my IDEA tree. I've added that tree to the IDEA tree configuration with no issues. Let's say that, later on, there are more games added to that database. Are the statistic AUTOMATICALLY updated in my IDEA tree configuration or is there something else I have to do to make sure updated information is presented?

Another question: With regard to the notation pane in Aquarium. IS there really no way to UNDO something in the pane? Say an accidental deletion of a move or line? In 'other' software, the normal windows behavior of Ctrl+Z undoes anything in the notation but that doesn't seem to work in Aquarium. Am I missing this functionality somewhere?

Also in the notation: Is there a way to force a SECOND instance of the same move in the notation pane? Say I wanted something like this:

1.e4

STOCKFISH:
1...e6 (Black wins)

KOMODO:
1...e6 (Black wins)

Currently, I cannot figure out how to make a SECOND instance of 1...e6. This is trivial in 'another' software. :P

I obviously want this to work in Aquarium so no trolls telling me to just use the other software. :D

Thanks,
Chief

No, it will not automatically update. You can delete the old tree and rebuild from the new enlarged database.

I think you are right that this functonality does not exist.

Enter 1e4 e6, then go back to e4 and hold down Ctrl when making the move e6 again and select "Strictly new variation" from the context menu. You can force many instances of the same move.

Thanks Dickie! The ctrl button was the answer!

This should be immediately fixed. This is actually quite crippling (or at least really really scary) for anyone manipulating their notation pane. If the devs are reading, please get this fixed. I've bought the last two versions of this software but, without this basic functionality, I can't see myself purchasing it again.
