asmFish is still alive but I have the feeling (actually I did run a test but probably not statistically significant) that it is not better than Stockfish anymore.
I always like the Large Pages and the (presumingly) faster code.

Who is still using asmFish and is it still better?

asmFish usually trails behind the stockfish updates by about a week.
On average the development versions ratings of stockfish increase by 1-2 ELO per week
I am getting a 21% using asmFish with 8 threads, and more for fewer threads which is great for IDEA analysis
8t: 21% over stockfish
4t: 25
2t: 30
1t: 33

A 10% speed up translates to about 4 points of rating so:
8t: +8.4 elo
4t: +10 elo
2t: +12 elo
1t: +13.2 elo

So even though asmFish lags in development, it more than makes up in speed.
