In Aquarium (IDeA-project) I got an error:

"Error 11001
Host unknown
Task with postion …. will be deleted"

That position is an endgame tablebase position. I have 6 men syzygy tablebases installed.

What is this error and what can I do to solve it?

Thanks in advance!

The message seems to imply a network error. Are you using a client and if so are there tablebases stored on the client with the engine appropriately configured?

I know nothing of clients, sorry.
But I do know I have another IDeA project with just a rook + f- and h-pawn vs rook. That is immediately recgonized as 0,00. Also in engine-competition mode tablebases are corretly used.

Then I'm afraid it is as much a mystery to me as it is to you. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable can help.

Sounds like when I got this error is when either chessok 7 mans tablebase is down or my internet is down and aquarium tries to access it.

Thank you. With internet connected it's ok.
Problem is that that PC is often not connected with internet.
Other problem is that the IDeA-project is partly corrupted now. Those TB-positions Aquarium does not want tot analyse anymore (even with internet connection), so the proper evaluation (win for white) is not taken into account in the tree. 'Restoring' tree didn't help.

Is in IDeA project properties Queries to 7 man tablebase marked then unmark it and you will not have that problem.
