Jeroen-t13-all.epd contains every position in the books.

Jeroen-t13-leaf.epd contains only the book exit points.

The positions are analyzed to 37 plies or better.

I can't tell you much about the TCEC 14 superfinal openings, but I think it will be fun to watch!

Average distance to divergence point in plies: 3,74
Average distance to divergence point in plies (decisive openings): 3,7143

Average book exit of all openings: 0,3932
Average book exit of decisive (21/50) openings: 0,4862

As eval of book exit i use Komodo evaluation of first move after divergence.

Two openings that i will exclude:

48 - 1. e4 e5 2. f4 exf4 3. Nf3 h5 4. d4 g5
19 - 1. d4 d5 2. c4 dxc4 3. e4 c5 4. d5 Nf6 5. Nc3 b5 6. Bf4 Qa5 7. e5 Ne4 8. Ne2 Na6 9. f3 Nb4

Otherwise - well done.

Thanks :-).

1. d4 d5 2. c4 dxc4 3. e4 c5 4. d5 Nf6 5. Nc3 b5 6. Bf4 Qa5 7. e5 Ne4 8. Ne2 Na6 9. f3 Nb4  looked very interesting (it had been tried in a Gelfand-Anand game), but according to the engines it is just equal. Nevertheless the two games were rather interesting. Black can play a piece down, but still draws comfortably.

1. e4 e5 2. f4 exf4 3. Nf3 h5 4. d4 g5 is a weird King's gambit I picked from my KGA book. It was refuted right away by 5.h4 g4 6.Ng5!! My sources only give 5.Bc4 and 5.h4 g4 6.Ne5. When I recall correctly the engines played 5.Bc4 in my quick check.

BTW, I also think my pick 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nf6 3.Nxe5 d6 4.Nxf7 is simply unplayable.

Yes, actually it was a miracle how Stockfish save the game in KGA with Nf6.

In the Cochrane Gambit we got interesting theoretical line h3, so ... it's fine.
