Yet another weird Aquarium 2017 behavior I was observing recently. When I ran more than one project at the same time, sometimes in one of them manually added tasks are never analysed, unless I stop other projects. I wander if anyone else had this problem or this is just me struggling with broken Aquarium install.

There is a setting somewhere in the program to analyze manually added tasks first.
Find that and make sure it is set correctly.

Can't you get the same amount done by running the projects one at a time for half the time each?

Well, what is then will be the point to have multiple projects option?

Probably, but I like to work on multiple projects simultaneously too.  A mind thing, psychological I guess.  With my new, higher core count system, I like to work on 2 or 3 projects at once.  But I am not happy with the way that Aquarium does it internally, so I just run 3 instances of Aquarium.  This gives me complete flexibility, and I never run into the problem posed by the OP.

Now I do have other problems, the biggest one is the necessity, at times, of moving projects around... but I have done it often enough now, I know exactly where each file/folder is that needs to be copied.  So not a big issue.  I guess it will be a bit of a pain in the ass when it comes time to upgrade Aquarium, but oh well.

>time to upgrade Aquarium

As we (the paying public) have not seen any updates (free) to this years version, neither did we get any updates during the last version of Aq. Perhaps we can all assume that there will not be a new updated
version to Aq and some of us can save our money?

It may be true... but I have read here that people are working on the program.  I have no inside information, so anything is possible.  Last year I was surprised when the release came.

This forum certainly is quiet, and it doesn't appear that anyone here has much inside knowledge.

I would bet your bottom dollar that they will be re-issuing a new yearly version that will have some bug fixes that could/should have been given free during this past year.:roll:

Maybe, but I would probably buy it.  Radical changes would be less welcome.
