Is it possible in Aquarium (2017) to analyze 2 different positions in the same game (e.g. after 10.Rb1 & after 10.Bd2) with 2 engines (e.g. SF8a & SF8b)?
I always create a copy of the game but maybe there is a more convenient way...

Yes it is. Please see Aquarium help text - Multi-Variation Infinite Analysis

Multi-Variation Infinite Analysis

Unlike single variation mode, multi-variation mode allows you to analyze several variations with different first moves. The additional information usually costs longer analysis time, but in rare situations where the best move is not evident, multi-variation mode may find the right variation faster than single variation mode.

In the text a good description "how to do" is available.

My example was not good.. sorry.
What I meant is 2 different positions in the same game (e.g. after 10.Rb1 & after 15.Bd2)...

Do you mean in IDea or infinite analysis?

If you are working in the Sandbox, then it is 1 position at a time.  If you are in IDeA, using infinite analysis button, then you can do as many positions at once as you have memory and computer power to process.... I routinely do 2 or 3, even using different engines on several positions at once.  In IDeA there really is no limitation, other than that imposed by your memory and cpu power.

It is also possible to run IA in IDeA and the Sandbox analysis simultaneously as well.  Aquarium is really aces for this sort of work.

Hmmm... the only question remaining is how to do it!

In a game saved in a database I have running Infinite Analysis (IA) with 1 engine. Now I would like to run another Infinite Analysis (with a different engine) in the same game at a different position, e.g. after 21.Nxg5 hxg5. As in the image below the button Analyze is not available as there is the Stop button instead.

I don't think that it is possible.

I believe you are in the Sandbox here.

As I wrote above, you can only do "1" position in the Sandbox.

If you want to do more, you must move to the IDeA window and use the IA function, which is represented by the "lazy 8", or the infinity symbol, an 8 laying on its side.  Then you navigate to the position and press the IA symbol, select your engine and voila!  You can do many simultaneous analyzes in the IDeA window.

Ahhh.. now I know what you mean.

Never used that function before, thanks for the hint!
