Well, I am not sure I can blame AQ 2017---but I lost my first tree with it this morning. My system rebooted in the middle of the IDeA analysis session and that tree became fubar. I do not know why it rebooted. But it was a legitimate crash. When rebooted, Windows said that the system had been terminated previously in an abnormal manner. Lucky for me, it was only a small tree with around 10k evaluations in it. Not a huge loss, but disconcerting anyway. It has been a long time since my system has crashed like this. It is pretty stable.

And if my system crashes during a IDeA session I loose the openend IDeA game or games. Thats pity.

I have used a pgn file and after a crash I get corrupt games that are displayed as "new game" instead of "Mr. X against Mr. Y". :-( But Felix suggest to use cdp files instead.

Well, the crash was caused by my psu going bad. Not an issue with AQ 2017.

Replaced the psu and installed a new video card (while I had the case open) and the computer is back to normal. With the new video card, it is running 15 C cooler than old card... helps keep the cpu cooler!!
