looks like you still managed to get a pgn for the world rapid just in time :-)

In the beginning, I typed moves manually. Eventually, Chess24 got their feed in order and I used that. (Unsurprisingly, the organizers never answered my request for a feed. I don't understand why, but it generally never really happens.) Occasionally hung, though, which was pretty annoying (seemed to happen at the most dramatic moments, so I guess there was something about the pieces being moved quickly that an operator had to go in and correct).

For blitz, it will be Chess24 all the way.

Ah OK, still it was working rather well, so thanks a lot!
Btw., since it is quite some work for organizers to provide a live transmission of moves, it is kind of ironic that they almost never answer to your requests. Maybe you should give an interview to some chess media (I guess everyone would be happy about such "easy" content) in order to complain about it :-) Sometimes such things work. Although there may be little hope if the worldchess guys are involved.

Thanks for your great coverage Steinar, that and the great annotations from Caruana/So/Seirawan[very funny about "game" 12] over at Chessbase were the rare highlights of this WCH-"fight".

For making them svg, the best way would be to use simply inkscape and draw them again using your bmps as model
