GBDC032015.cgb is an expanded version of the original GBDC122013.cgb book. There are now 364 lines (originally only 149 lines) all staying within 0.30 evaluation for several moves out of book and meeting Dann Corbit's win/draw/loss statistics criteria.

GBSelect2015-1.cgb is the latest version of my ever evolving book with many in vogue lines and statistically good lines that end with fair chances for both sides according to the Chessbase online database. 301 lines in total.

No, but I can provide a PGN if that helps.

I did not check the select book, but the other one has illegal PGN, because the game terminations do not match the headers.
Here is a repaired version:

If anybody makes a proper ctg book from either file, I'd love to have a copy.

Hi Graham, Not sure what you mean by "proper" but I've made 3 versions from each database set ...

_EW = Equal weighting. All moves priority marked.
_GW = Number of Games Weighted and moves priority marked.
_SW = Standard weighting. No priority marking.

_GW most likely suits your needs although the probability of a move being played is not fully balanced for the number of occurences.
_EW all moves have equal chance of being played
_SW Standard Chessbase book compile some moves will not be played.

Check them out and if not quite right let me know what you need.

Regards,
Peter

Graham, I should have added for the games weighted books the probability of a move being played can be set very close to the percentage of moves by adjusting the book option settings as shown in attached jpeg.

Peter
