Which of these positions do you think are theoretical draws? The latter options include silly Black moves so as to alternate turns - the idea is to give White some extra tempi. I hesitate to make this a poll, but the "why" question is perhaps too speculative, and I am interested in the "what" result. [The first option is so that None of the Above need not be included. :)]
I'm starting off with the first three; perhaps people's arguments might be able to convince me of the later options as time goes on... The one in which I would most easily be convinced to add would be the one where white has only two free moves, 1.e4 2.d4
Why b3 is less likely to be a draw than d4 or e4 is beyond me. Even more absurd 79% think that white (black?) has a won position after 1.b3
I suppose this is partly the same lot who believe god has a rating of 6000+

That 79% isn't a "real" number because of the fact that the poll allows multiple votes, but unfortunately tallies the percentages as if the votes all come from different users.

Maybe because Alan voted? :-P
There would seem to be 12 votes so far, with 3 people thinking that everything is drawn, and another person saying e4/d4 is not enough. I'm not so sure about the last option (double fianchetto), and even the one before it (g3,Bg2,Nf3,O-O) seems iffy. Otherwise I'd agree that e4/d4/Nf3 (barely) and particularly e4/d4/Nf3/Bc4 should be wins.
Oh, e4/d4/Nf3/Bc4 may be a very quick win :-)
e4/Qf3/Bc4/Bxf7 is even quicker :-p
