Ok,Rybka fans...I'm not trying to disappoint you, but I would like to post this before Harvey does...
Hiarcs won on better s-b progressive score.
Cluster Toga spoiled the...forget it,we can't blame it now..
so what version of Rybka played at IPCCC?
Better luck next time,Vas.

2.3.2e13. The news is already online on our website since about 1 hour, so we were quite fast with this news :)
Thanks Felix!
Well done - looking forward to owning H12! :o)

Shouldn't you look forward to own Cluster Toga?? :-)
No not really we just put Hiarcs on a cluster. But seriously if these events are to be marketing tools I would rather see all engines play on hardware a home user can own - so at the moment that is <= 8 cores.
Congratz to Hiarcs (an engine I was a fan of since the WCh. title 1993).
But the Rybka killer in this tournament was Cluster Toga, not Hiarcs. - Basically, it is good that there is competition up to the very top. That keeps things more interesting. 2008 will be exiting. I guess also Deep Fritz 11 will knock very loud on the door to #1 :-D
