The following positions and games are from a 5m+2s tournament
on single cpu, Athlon@1500 MHz and Xmas book for Arena.

8/8/p3kpb1/Pp2p1p1/1Pp1Pn1p/2P1NP1P/3K2P1/5B2 w - - 0 103

In a game Glaurung vs. Rybka, this position occurred after 62 moves of maneuvring with the same material (with 60...h4 being the only pawn move in between). But now, Glaurung was not satisfied with the upcoming draw, and decided to play: 103.Nxc4! bxc4 104.Bxc4+ Kd7 105.Bxa6 Nxg2, resulting in this position:

8/3k4/B4pb1/P3p1p1/1P2P2p/2P2P1P/3K2n1/8 w - - 0 106

The game reached the limit of 120 moves I had set, but I think the adjudication is ok (evals are from the engines viewpoint each):

On this occasion, a nice example from a Pro Deo 1.5 game where White also sacrificed a knight for two pawns after a period of maneuvring, and won:

A remarkable win against Alaric 707, which is a strong engine too and reached (much) bigger depths in this game. Pro Deo won their mini match 3.5-0.5, but lost 0-4 against Rybka:

Delfi is a quality engine and multiple Italian computer champion, but against these opponents it didn't seem competitive, unfortunately. A couple of times, it could save a draw from very bad positions at least.

Finally, a Rybka highlight:

Hi Mike, these positions look familiar. They look like the ones from Father's games. :)

I entered 1-0 instead of the correct 0-1 when adjudicating the Glaurung-Rybka game above. Actually, White was losing. But maybe 103.Nxc4 was still considerable, or worth to be tried.

Correct table:
