Basically i can choose here between a) dxc3 which leads to crazy complications (this is a favorite on playchess ) in case you play Bc4 and offer the b2-pawn as well while taking with the knight seems to tame the game already considerably, b) i can also offer you d5 exd5 Qxd5 which most likely is also not in my favor  and c) there is this nice positional gambit-gambit with...

Would be interesting what Nelson 's book says about 3...Qe7, most likely 3...d5 has better numbers for black and 3...dxc3 being worse, but here i can only speculate. The 60sec engine-run i started gives you +0.04 btw. expecting 4. Nf3?!.

Honestly, i have no clue and may be losing this. My feelings exactly,

Ok, you grabbed the pawn, or I gave the pawn, whichever... For that pawn, I have control of 75% of the center, a lead in development and a space advantage. You have a fortress built up, and an extra pawn.
Plus, I don't think that rook on f8 will ever move.

Now what to do, These are the times when a GM can come in handy, for neither I nor the engines know the correct continuation.

So in closing my friend, I may need a little extra time in both games. :red:

btw: Good morning!

No worry, take your time - there is no hurry, the most burning questions* in both games already got answered to me, the remainder is fun... so let crunch your machines for a few weeks to destroy my 3minute-decision 17...Rae8 (and must admit, through your lines i already got a bad feeling).

*edit: i wanted to get a feeling how less hardware and analysis-time can be compensated by working hard on a position - sadly this approach has especially "human" setbacks - especially in concentration&discipline[&motivation].

Well, as you have given the position equal after 15. Rae1, and i most likely haven't found the best continuation since then, i expect me down in eval due maybe some kind of killer-kingside-attack, but maybe its not on the kingside but you simply press a pawn through where i have to give a piece for... currently don't know - maybe will (have to) find out soon (the hard way). Yet i'm aware that the position in best case can be equal for me.
