Good Luck!

Was thinking about King's Indian with a nice attack on the King but
I am more familiar with 1...d5.

No surprise...
3...Nf6

On 365chess.com more than 40,000 games were played with our moves so far and
on ICCF I could find >4000. Stockfish 3 sess the position +0,40 but I guess it is a
bit early for engines.

i usually dont use databses, for one reson;to force myself to work harder, and improve with it my chess

engines sucks because they doesnt understand very long term plans,so i agree aabout the score, but is really inflated, white hasnt that advantage

4. Qb3

4.Qb3 seems to be the fith most popular move and
the one with the best statistics (low draw rate and
very low number of Black wins). Engines do not like it
too much though (Stockfish drops to about +0,10.
Anyways, an interesting move.

Stockfish is definitely not the engine you would want to be
using while trying to get out of book early.

My rule of thumb is that if there are more than 25 pieces left on the board,
DO NOT USE STOCKFISH.

Even with the new Stockfish (version 3)? It seems more useful in the
beginning of the game... What is your favorite in the opening? Critter 1.6a?

I believe that the best engines for opening play are Komodo and Houdini.
Where one falters the other picks up.
I only find Critter and Stockfish to be subsets to what using Komodo and Houdini together could be.

right about the engines to use in the opening

Again, I play the most common move, have not found an interesting way
to deviate yet. I leave that up to you

6...Nbd7 would likely lead to the same positions... and other
moves were not tempting. With regards to statistics I see White
has a bit above 50% but the draw rate is also >50%. Anyways, I am
looking forward to your 10th move (maybe 10.Re1 To prepare e4?).
