The position below occurred in my Online Games,(I was Lucky to Win This:grin:)
Probably simple but still interesting!

Black to play and Checkmate,

8/3R1pkp/6p1/2pPp1q1/2N1Pn2/1r2QP2/5P1P/5B1K b - - 1 29


Can you spot Quickest Checkmate here?! Try honestly! :)

Do mention, In how many seconds did you spot the right sequence accurately!

Yes. Two or three seconds.
Of course it's much easier when you know there is a forced mate.

I spotted Rb1 in less than a minute and was delighted with myself. Then H3 tells me there's a quicker mate! :smile:

is too easy:Qg2+ and after the rook check,is mate

edit:about seconds...that is a mate that can be look at first sight,so no more than few seconds like kappatto pointed

The hanging queen is a distraction, though - it cost me at least a second or so. ;)

yes,it can distract if people dont know is a check mate,beause we tend to capture material

but knowing is a check mate,Qg2 is obvious;all the other checks of the rook are mate,because the knight control the scape-square 'g2'

Took me a couple minutes, so like 120 seconds.

In a fast blitz game I probably would have just captured the queen :-/
