Why the title of the test page is shredder?
Parent - - By Ingo (***) Date 2012-07-20 18:18
What "test" are you talking about?

Bye

Hi Ingo,

thanks for testing!

>Why the title of the test page is Shredder?
>What "test" are you talking about?

I suppose this question is related about this:
(Look in the upper left corner on this screenshot)

Best regards

Ahh,

If he would open it how it is supposed to be opened he would not see it and would not have a question - and I will try to fix the "non intended use (side loading)"

Besides that: Conditions, point 3.

I mean the title of this page:
http://www.inwoba.de/1234.html
Parent - By Ray (****) Date 2012-07-21 03:31
yes I see it as well, it is because of

<head><title>Shredder</title></head>
Parent - - By Ingo (***) Date 2012-07-21 05:11
Do you realy ask about something which is not visible if you load it as it is intended?

Bye
Ingo
Parent - - By siah (***) Date 2012-07-21 05:46
Is it really a crime to load like that?
Parent - - By Ingo (***) Date 2012-07-21 06:19
Not at all, but not the intended use of my site and I dont see any advantage in doing so.

What I really don't like is loading a site different and asking questions which are obvious if you would have read the rest of my page! That shows that people do not care at all about how a list (not just mine) is made - and that is really a sad thing as it is most important!

No need to get all bent out of shape.. he's a unique case; he's kinda crazy if you read his posts.

Hi,

The IPON result table looks like . . .

Komodo 5

Komodo 5 - Houdini 2.0 STD (3028)  67.5  - 76.5  46.88%  Perf=3007
Komodo 5 - Critter 1.6a (2973)    81.0  - 62.0  56.64%  Perf=3019
Komodo 5 - Stockfish 2.2.2 JA (2966)  76.5  - 66.5  53.50%  Perf=2990

Would it be possible to add win/loss/draw values in the same line?

Like this perhaps . . .

Komodo 5 - Houdini 2.0 STD (3028)  67.5  - 76.5 (+W -L =D)  46.88%  Perf=3007

Possible?

I just checked the file, it is ok. I seems you did not use the requiered program which is called 7-zip (Goggle it),it is available for MAC as well. The files inside are pure text and should work everywhere.

Bye
Ingo

PS: What is "Apple"?  Iheard some call it the "new Microsoft" already? lol
Parent - - By Razor (****) Date 2012-07-20 19:43
Thanks but no thanks - hate Microsoft, Google, et al - happy to remain safe with less knowledge than unsafe and unhappy!

If what you have cannot be seen through my Safari browser then no good to me at least.

Thanks for responding though.

Cheers.

I downloaded it, and re-archived the contents as .zip and uploaded here:

happy to remain safe with less knowledge than unsafe and unhappy!

Without wishing to give offence,  do you need to be that paranoid?  With such a narrow minded outlook on life and the world around you, you will miss out on many things and knowledge, but I guess it takes all sorts to make the world go round.
Parent - - By Razor (****) Date 2012-07-23 19:41
Right now, many people wish there were more risk averse people in the world, sadly there are not and the world faces the dire consequences of the actions some of the risk takers of this world took effectively damaging a lot of peoples lives for the next few decades.  Sure, one can argue a case that suggests there are no rewards without taking risk but that is all a question of where your mind rests when it comes to rewards.  Reward takes many shapes and sizes.  For me, remaining happy for as long as I possibly can without consciously impacting others in a negative way is what I try to do.  I don't get this right all the time I know but I try nonetheless.
Parent - By jammy (***) Date 2012-07-24 09:06
As you say, Risk, and Rewards (for want of better words) can be viewed (with an open mind) from both sides of a coin, without Mankind in general taking risks in all walks of life there would have been no advancement of any form, we would still be in the Stone age, but even then they had to/must have taken risks, otherwise we would still be there.  I would agree there are many ,many things wrong with the world, but that has always be the case and a different problem which you or I will never resolve. Anyway, back to Chess.

Dont take Life too seriously, you won't get out allive.

Patience :-)

I have to finish the games vs DF13, then I will make a complete update.

But I can already tell that it is about 25 Elo better than the previous version.
