NOTE: I know that ' Style ' is not the right Word for this Content, but I think it is a nice ' Atmosphere Creator '; as with so many Language Elements I do.

I think that I have already seen two Worlds of Machine .VS. Machine that he hosts.
8 Hours per move.
So how is he doing this?
Does he ' never ' shuts down his Computer/LAPtop?
Or does he only let the Engines think when his Computer/LAPtop is Online?
Or, what I am Hoping, he let them think and make their moves also when his PC/LAPtop is shut Down :yell: !
Maybe he just has several PC's and Cores and intelXFL's and those all those other Technical Names?
At least you know what I hope, but you might not be able to Guess why I hope what I hope

I would like to know from you, whether it is in my Possibility to let a Chess World being analyzed by a Chess Engine ( last Time Critter seemed to Analyze in a way Comfortable for me so from first look, the first game. Have to test it further  )

So I would Really be pleasured to know whether it is Possible to Analyze a Chess Game in a GUI ( or maybe somewhere else!? ) when my LapTop is Offline, shut Down ( or downshut ;p )

For all this is Important, thank you in advance,

the Practitioner

Sorry for the delay in answering.  I saw my username in the title, but didn't think somebody was talking about me.  I thought maybe there was an engine named "dragon49."  I am flattered!

To answer your questions:

I use the excellent Program, Fritz12, which has a feature called, "infinite analysis."  I set up the position, load the engine and force a move after 8 hours.  I shut down the pc at night.  It is not possible to analyze when the pc is off.  I only have 1 pc.

I an unable to guess why you hope what you hope.

What do you hope?

I would be even more interested if an engine was named after me!

I hoped that your beloved Engines think about their moves 24 Hours per Day, which means in the Context of ' to shut your PC down ', that they can think and Analyze when the PC is shut-down.
This means that it would have been also Theoretically possible for me to let an Engine in a Specific ' surrounding ' think 24 hours per Day.

Maybe Labyrinth can catch me with Help
