I know this is only a small fragment of an interview with Anand in 2011.
But perhaps still some people have not seen it.

I think that for me it is Fritz.

I already had such a Comfortable & Nice feeling around Fritz, when I read that it has a slow Methodical playing-style with a strong Defensive Mindset:

Any engine now play at least on the level of 1900, so they will be more than a challenge for most players.

I suggest using the engine, which plays in your preferred style. For example, I use Rybka Dynamic, as it often goes for open agressive positions, I like. It's also easily gives away material for tactical advantage.

Personally I hate Fritz. I played it, and it's totally opposite. Its slow and methodical. Any human would go nutz, playing vs a computer with a strong defensive mindset.

It also depends on the opening book choice of course.

I have not played ( really ) against Fritz though.

Rybka Human is one of my favorites. Especially for position analysis.

For Correspondence Chess, Rybka Human is the weakest of the trio.

Playing against the engine? Does it produce more beautiful beatings than the other versions?
