well,i was playing the Semi Final of the Worl Championship at LSS,and i had nearly sure a place to the Final (as i told by PM to Scott a few days ago)
yesterday,a player that also was playing the Semi Final,withdrawed his games,giving to the only opponent that he remains playing an adjudicated by the TD won game,in a total draw position,7 pieces on the board,and the endgame was a total draw
if that person never withdrawed the tournament,i was able to go to the Final,but his withdraw,he gave to my opponent a full point,and with the extra 1/2 extra point that my opponent got in a draw position from his withdraw,my opponent will be able to go to the final,and not me,lossing all the hard work that i made
the worst thing,is if the player who withdrawed before withdraw the games,just send to his opponent a draw offer,the draw offer will be accepted,but he never sent that draw offer...
in a 'normal' tournament,being half point up or down,is trivial,but in a Semi Final of a World Championship were only players play,and only 6 games are played,half point is an entire life
that is why am very angry with that...(thanks to Paul for telling me that i must be 'correct' when i write the thread) ''guy'',im out of the Final
edit:that isnt an atack against David,who must withdraw because he had family problems in a lost position...the guy had a draw position,he never sent the draw offer BUT withdraw the game

I feel for you very much.If i was a much younger man i would enter these tournaments,lets look at real life and how strong various people are.
IMHO the strongest players on forum are,Kappatoo,BigBen,Jose and maybe yourself.

thanks for your kindly words Paul;you are also a very strong player,and i know for the games we played
just im deceived because i worked very hard to be at the Final,and now,with one guy withdraw,all the work is gone
p.s.about registering at these tournaments,you can do it without any problem,i think your age isnt a real problem,and you can beat a lot of players that play at LSS
