Will Deep Rybka 5 have persistent hash like Deep Rybka 3? The blind bishop will finally ,,see''? Maybe Vas will soon let us know how stronger Deep Rybka 5 will be, as Robert Houdart already announced the approximately gap between Houdini 3 and Houdini 2. I have the feeling that Vas will release Deep Rybka 5 after Houdini 3?
Unlikely - why would Houdini need to release H3 {or whatever the name turns out to be} until R5 {or any other software for that matter} takes the number one spot on the IPON list? If R5 is delivered, it may not even take the IPON number one position.
Of course it's all speculation, but I agree more with Magnus. Looks like Mr Houdart is hinting at a release sooner rather than later whereas who knows if Vas is even working on Rybka 5.
I never bought H2, but I'll buy H3 aquarium, I don't really need it but having a new toy to play with doesn't hurt.

I'm trying my best to convince Vas to bring back Persistent Hash, though probably my efforts for Rybka 4 were counter-productive (what I did was pointing to Persistent Hash and telling Vas PERSISTENT HASH HAS THESE CRITICAL BUGS THAT MUST BE FIXED BEFORE RELEASE, so Vas compiled it out.)
